Coding is arguably one of the most important skills for current as well as future generations to learn.

Here are the top 5 reasons why everyone should learn to code.

  1. Coding can boost problem-solving and logic skills
Learning coding teaches analytical thinking, it teaches you to solve complicated tasks and break them into individual tasks and then solve them one by one. The more you practice coding, the better you get at it. Consistency is the key.
  2. Coding opens up a job opportunity
Companies/Startups are looking for software developers who can build websites and apps for them, which opens room for job opportunities. I don’t think that there will be any shortage of programming jobs.
  3. Save time by automating tasks
Did you know that you can automate tasks by coding programs? With Programming languages like Python, you can automate manual tasks very easily. For example — you want to join your online classes/ meetings and leave after some time, python can do it for you instead. The possibilities are endless.
  4. Take your level of creativity to another level
With the wide variety of programming languages available in the coding community, anyone can build anything. Making apps that are not created yet and their need is increasing day by day. Observing problems faced by the community and creating a solution for it is what most people are doing.
  5. Is it difficult? Simply No
Most people think that coding is difficult. No, coding is not hard to learn. Much like other skills, learning to code requires time and consistency. However, some of you might find it difficult to start, but trust me once you are comfortable with one programming language other languages will be a piece of cake for you. Good things take time.
